Glasstire Article Review
A Conversation with Bill Viola 10-03-13
Peter Lucus wrote this blog about Bill Viola and his video images. I was no particularly fond of the Glasstire website as a whole. Due to the subjects they post and the visual content. The site seems to focus more on pictures of artwork instead of the picture that was captured being it's on artwork.
The image above is called The Dreamers. It is a picture taken of a video installation. During Bill Viola's interview Peter Lucus ask him about how he works with slow motion, depicts dreams in his artwork, and how he using ideas of death in his pieces. I think the image above was beautifully captured since it is a video in motion.

Lensscratch Article Review
Ron Anderson: River of Big Canoes
August, 20 2013
Ron Anderson made a blog about the Missouri River. There were lots of images to view on his blog which keep the blog visually interesting. It was easy to navigate and the captions were descriptive and kept short, but straight to the point. Anderson's post are of photographs that capture the beauty of the Missouri River.
The reason I find this blog so interesting is, because he participates in a fundraiser to clean and preserve the Missouri River. You can tell he is passionate about his work and he cares about the subjects he photographs. The image above particularly caught my interest in the fact that it's a beautiful picture that captured nature at a perfect time of day and just in the background you can tell that a steam boat was passing through and this detail added visual interest.
